NORTH TEXAS SCOUT CAMP

TEAMS HAVE APPROXIMATELY 2 HOURS AND 55 MINS TO COMPLETE BATTING PRACTICE(B.P.)/WARMUPS/GAME PLAY!

GOAL: TO GET AS MANY INNINGS IN AS POSSIBLE OF GAME PLAY. 

Please be urgent with your teams during batting practice & warming up.

PREGAME (HAVE YOUR TEAMS READY TO GO FOR B.P. IF WAITING FOR GAME TO FINISH, USE AVAILABLE AREAS TO STRETCH):

• Make sure to have a designated B.P. thrower ready with your own baseballs
• The team not taking B.P. will need to shag for the other team
• Have your starting pitchers getting loose towards the end of your B.P. session
• Warm up quickly right after both teams take B.P.

GAME PLAY (START AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO MAXIMIZE INNINGS):

HS FEDERATION RULES WITH THE FOLLOWING:

• Teams will supply their own game balls
• Stay on Foul balls on your side
• 3 OUTS or 3 RUNS per half inning
• NO METAL Spikes & NO SEEDS Allowed on Turf Mounds
• 90 Seconds in between half innings
• Courtesy Runners for Pitcher/Catcher
• Coaches Visits- Injuries/Switching Out Pitchers Only! (Keep the game moving)

POST GAME

• Games are to finish right at these times due to getting all teams a chance to play for the entirety of the day!
• Please exit your dugouts quickly so the next group coming in can start B.P. quickly.
• Visit with your team outside the dugouts.

Concessions:

Some Venues Have Concessions And Will Not Allow In Outside Food In! 

If Concessions Are Unavailable Then Outside Coolers Will Be Allowed.

Gate Fee:

Gate fees are $10 per person per day through Hometown Ticketing

Dugouts:

Clean Dugouts After Your Games And All Trash Picked Up. 

No Seeds Or Tobacco At Fields!! 

Turf Fields/Mounds:

No Metal Spikes On Any Turf Fields & Mounds At Any Field! 

Inclement Weather:

Refunds Due Inclement Weather Is Up To The Discretion Of The NTX Scout Camp Staff. All Updates Will Be Posted On The NTX Scout Camp Website/Twitter And Text Messages Will Be Send Out.

Parking:

Parking must be in designated parking spots with lines. Do not park on any grass areas or drive over/”hop” any curbs to park your vehicle. Your vehicle maybe subject to being towed from the venue. Please be aware of foul balls, NTX Scout Camp and venues are not responsible for any damages to vehicles.
